World Hearing Day
Ear and hearing care for all! Let’s make it a reality.
Celebrate World Hearing Day on March 3rd by raising awareness for Ear and Hearing Care for All! The importance of good hearing cannot be overstated - it affects communication, quality of life, social participation, and overall health.
Preventable hearing loss is on the rise, and the cost is staggering - both financially and personally. That's why this year's World Hearing Day theme is "Ear and hearing care for all! Let's make it a reality," focusing on integrating ear and hearing care into primary care services.

World Hearing Day
World Hearing Day is celebrated annually on the 3rd March to raise awareness of preventable hearing loss and promote ear and hearing care around the world.
The World Health Organization’s theme for World Hearing Day 2023 is: Ear and hearing care for all!
We will be supporting WHO to highlight the importance of integrating ear and hearing care within primary care, as an essential component of universal health coverage.
This day also marks the launch of WHO’s new training manual - Primary ear and hearing care training manual for health workers and general practitioners. This essential manual will be accompanied with trainer’s handbook and other community resources.
