Face-to-face fundraising
To help grow our community programmes across Aotearoa, the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Foundation (DHHF) raises funds through a range of activities — including face‑to‑face fundraising and telemarketing — to support our Hearing Hearo regular giving programme.
Hearing Hearos play a vital role in powering programmes that support people’s hearing health at every stage of life. Their generosity helps us remove barriers, improve access, and ensure Deaf and Hard of Hearing New Zealanders can participate, connect, and thrive.
Our face-to-face fundraisers will be operating in public community spaces across New Zealand from 16 March 2026. All fundraisers can be identified by their DHHF uniform and official photo ID. DHHF is a proud member of the Public Fundraising Regulatory Association (PFRA), which sets the Code of Conduct and professional standards for face-to-face fundraising in New Zealand.
