Manawatu Hearing Aid Fund
Applications are open all year round.
The Manawatu Hearing Aid Fund supports hard of hearing New Zealanders who are facing financial hardship to purchase new hearing aids. Applicants must reside in the Manawatu region at the time an application is made.
What does it cover?
Maximum of $500 per person which is paid directly to the applicants nominated Audiology provider and can be in addition to any other subsidies given to an individual who is hard to hearing that reside in the Manawatu region at the time the grant application is made.
Individual applicants are required to:
- be a New Zealand citizen or have permanent residency.

be hard of hearing and require hearing aids.

submit ALL supporting documents, along with a fully completed application form by the closing dates specified below, or your application will NOT be considered.

Audiogram and letter from audiologist recommending hearing aids is required to be uploaded

Proof of NZ citizenship or residency, in the form of a passport or birth certificate.

- Return application and supporting documents by the closing date.
Applicants will be notified of the progress of their application no later than two months after the closing date.
